Description: The applicant requests amendments to the General Plan, Coastal Land Use Plan and Zoning Map to change the land use designations of the two subject properties. No new land uses or development are proposed at this time. The southern parcel, located at 2888 Bay Shore Drive, would remain designated for multiple-unit residential development. The applicant requests a change to the density requirement from square-footage based to the number of dwelling units to reflect the existing 39 unit apartment complex. The applicant requests a land use change for the northern parcel, located at 2890 Bay Shore Drive, from multiple-unit residential to mixed-use water related. The property owner is seeking to continue the existing nonconforming mixed uses on the northerly parcel.
